Hunter Army Airfield

Telecommunications Engineering. The project is a new 76,000 square-foot aircraft maintenance hangar with aircraft access to the AOA for the US Military Special Operations Group. The hangar includes space for mission planning, flight operations, maintenance shops and administrative spaces. The structured cabling system was based on a ’red’ secure system and a ’black’ non-secure system. Fiber optic was used for the backbone and Cat 6 to the desktop. The specifications were the government standard with metric measurements. The construction cost for this project was $19.01 million.
