Provided the security system design for a new 911 Emergency Facility. The facility was approximately 45,000 square-feet two-story mission critical essential facility to contain training, administrative, 9-1-1 support and communication components and shall function as a back-up emergency communication location. Other features include surface parking for approximately 100 cars, a 3-bay emergency management garage, exterior sheltered space for GHC mobile Command unit, emergency generator, helipad, radio tower and related site improvements for the 11.3 acre site. The security system included surveillance, access control, vehicle gates with AVI and call stations. The security system used IP cameras and Edge card readers utilizing PoE technology. A command center was established inside the facility for 24 hour monitoring of the system.
