Provided electrical, security and communications engineering services. The project scope included designing two (2) new generator buildings to replace five (5) existing generator buildings. New power will be distributed throughout the airfield for lighting, signage and Nav-Aids from the new generator buildings. New regulators will be installed. The existing S1 cut-outs will be replaced and upgraded. A new communications ductbank will be installed to interconnect the vault, ATCT, administration building, airfield and grounds buildings, transceiver building, generator buildings and navigational aids ((2) localizers, (2) oscilliometer, (4) RVR’s, weather station, beacon, sequence strobe, etc). The airfield lighting remote control system (ALRCS) will be replaced. New communication rooms were provided at six locations with fiber optics installed between the locations. Access control was provided at all new IDF Rooms. The construction cost for the project is $8.6 million.
