Electrical Engineer, Owner, President

Ms. Ferguson has more than 25 years of experience providing electrical engineering services for a variety of projects. A licensed professional engineer, with a degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, she founded Ferguson Consulting, Inc. to apply her knowledge and expertise as part of a project team to consistently provide clients with successful projects.

With specialized experience in the aviation industry, she has engineered numerous projects including both General Aviation and Part 139 Airports. Her aviation design experience includes both visual and navigations aids including SMGCS, FAA Status Lights as well as ILS Approach Systems. In addition, she designs electrical utility vaults, and the supporting infrastructure and facilities.

Ms. Ferguson has terminal building experience in all parts of the airport including, but not limited to, security check-points, customer facing areas, operational areas, radio systems, control towers, baggage handling, cargo areas, and perimeter security systems brings to the client full service knowledge and experience for the complete aviation electrical and special systems.

Ms. Ferguson received her Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD) seal from the Building Industry Consulting Services, Inc. Ms. Ferguson has diverse experience including the design of specialized, high performance low–voltage systems to support CATV, CCTV, access control, Informational Display Systems, wired and wireless data and cellular systems and radio systems. She adopts state–of–the–art technology tools through continuing education and membership in professional organizations.

As an RCDD, Ms. Ferguson has proven she has the knowledge and expertise in telecommunications industry standards, equipment, and design, including physical size, temperature, humidity, and distance limitations. This expertise allows her to design a telecommunications system utilizing the proper installation requirements in a physical topology to ensure the equipment will function optimally. In addition, she has the unique capability to consider bandwidth requirements and future growth to provide an economical design solution to clients.

Office Manager

Kelly Wilde is our Office Manager.  As a graduate of Texas State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems, she is able to resolve many challenges we face as a company.  She has excellent organizational skills and keeps the office running smoothly and efficiently. Ms. Wilde not only manages the office but prepares all specifications, administers the construction documentation, keeps the network file system organized, coordinates all office activities, and performs a significant portion of the accounts payables and receivables.  Her attention to detail and focus on customer service provides the team a solid framework and support system to complete projects on time and within budget. She is our longest employee with more than thirteen (13) years tenure.

Patrick Maley is a graduate of The University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.  Mr. Maley has been designing electrical power and lighting systems for more than six (6) years.  He is well versed with utility company coordination, assisting clients to resolve electrical concerns, preparation of biddable construction plans and electrical inspections.  Patrick understand the FAA requirements for designing airfield lighting and control systems and preparation of specifications and bid tabulations.  He is an invaluable asset to our Aviation Team.

Cole is a graduate from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He has excellent people skills, is team oriented and quick to learn new concepts. Cole has been heavily involved in the aviation section designing runway and taxiway lighting and signage systems, guidance, temperature and other control systems. In addition to aviation lighting and power, Cole has experience designing security and technology systems. He is working with the design team, manufacturers, owners, and other consultants as well as gaining valuable field experience and training. Cole is an invaluable asset bringing strength to our aviation team and additional engineering support for the technology team.

BIM Manager

Carlos has over 13 years of experience in the technology industry. He is skilled at developing BIM standards including customization and standards development. He has enabled Ferguson to have better consistency of documentation as we grow as a company. Not only does Carlos manage our BIM standards, he also is an exceptional technology designer and has been designing telecommunication, security and A/V systems in the commercial industry for over 6 years. His projects range from higher ed schools, medical facilities, aviation facilities, office buildings, and many other project types. With exceptional people and leadership skills, Carlos is a leader in our technology group.

Designer

Ariel is a recent addition to our technology team. Ariel has an Associate’s degree in Computer Science and brings over 11 years of experience in the technology industry providing design support and excellent skills with computer aided drafting. He not only supports our technology team but with his skill set and knowledge of technology systems, he is able to be a significant design addition.  Ariel is team oriented with excellent organizational skills. Ariel thrives on accepting and accomplishing new design challenges and actively seeks out opportunities to learn and teach others

EIT

We are very pleased to announce that Grant has joined the FCI team.  He is a graduate from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Grant’s dedication to detail and his ability to master new challenges was proven while a summer intern at FCI. He is simultaneously taking roles in technology as well as aviation which makes him an invaluable member of the team.

AutoCAD Technician

Fred Rocha is our AutoCAD and computer/network technician. He is a team player with a very easy going, positive attitude. He has been working on AutoCAD systems for more than five years and has developed excellent skills and programming abilities. In addition to AutoCAD, he supports the company network. He maintains our computer, network and software systems to be sure we operate smoothly.
